GLUG 17 - THE GLOBAL GOALS
In September 2015, 193 world leaders signed up to the UN’s Global Goals initiative. This set out 17 development goals across those countries based around three key themes: ending extreme poverty, fighting inequality and injustice, and fixing climate change. In collaboration with Global Goals, Glug aim to celebrate and raise awareness around the Development Goals from a creative point of view.
They brought together a selection of 17 global designers to each voice their opinions, hopes, fears and thoughts on what the next 15 years will bring.
This resulted in the launch of Glug 17 exhibition in London and then the initiative will be taken to Global Goal’s HQ and their dinner reception in early in 2016. Glug believes in the power of creativity to affect change and that also aligned with my own beliefs so it was an honour to be involved on such a great project.
